Alison Jardine (she/her)

Alison is a warm and compassionate psychologist with a focus on supporting children, adolescents, and their families. She is experienced in helping children manage challenges such as anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, school refusal, and adjustment to family transitions. Alison also works with adolescents addressing experiencing  low self-esteem, academic stress, and mood and anxiety disorders. She takes a collaborative approach, aiming to create a nonjudgmental and supportive environment.

In addition to her work with children and adolescents, Alison works with young adults managing life transitions, relationship difficulties, burnout, sleep disturbances, and mood and anxiety disorders.

Alison holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Australian Catholic University and is currently undertaking her Clinical Psychology Registrar Program. Her clinical experience spans private practice, research, and community service settings. She has provided evidence-based therapy across the lifespan and has conducted comprehensive psychometric assessments. Alison also has expertise in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), focusing on increasing positive child behaviour and strengthening parent-child relationships.

Alison uses evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). When working with children, she takes an attachment-focused approach, collaborating closely with families to tailor each session to the child’s specific needs and circumstances.

Alison works at our Mosman clinic on Tuesdays and our North Sydney clinic on Thursdays and Fridays.
