Poor sleeping and eating habits, disruptive or defiant behaviours and school refusal are not uncommon in young children and can be an externalisation of anxiety or worries or due to attachment issues. Not surprisingly, many parents struggle to manage their children’s anxious, negative or testing behaviours. Our Clinical Psychologists are highly qualified and have specialised working with children with behavioural difficulties, excessive worry and anxiety disorders, attachment difficulties and depression, amongst a range of other childhood emotional and behavioural problems.

If your child experiences any of the following difficulties, we can assist you and your child to overcome their challenges in order for them to engage more fully and adaptively in their life. To achieve change as quickly as possible we tailor treatment to meet your child’s individual needs using evidence-based therapies, which include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Play Therapy, Attachment-based Interventions such as Circle of Security, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and EMDR.
