Alison Jardine (she/her)

Alison is a warm and compassionate psychologist with a focus on supporting children, adolescents, and their families. She is experienced in helping children manage challenges such as anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, school refusal, and adjustment to family transitions. Alison also works with adolescents experiencing  low self-esteem, academic stress, and mood and anxiety disorders. She takes a collaborative approach, aiming to create a nonjudgmental and supportive environment.

Alison uses evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). When working with children, she takes an attachment-focused approach, collaborating closely with families to tailor each session to the child’s specific needs and circumstances.

In addition to her work with children and adolescents, Alison works with young adults managing life transitions, relationship difficulties, burnout, sleep disturbances, and mood and anxiety disorders. Her clinical experience spans private practice, research, and community service settings. She has provided evidence-based therapy across the lifespan and has conducted comprehensive psychometric assessments. Alison also has expertise in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), focusing on increasing positive child behaviour and strengthening parent-child relationships.

Alison holds a Masters of Psychology (Clinical) from Australian Catholic University and is currently completing the registrar program for clinical endorsement under the supervision of TMC director, Dr Daniel Mullens.

Alison practises at our Mosman clinic on Tuesdays and our North Sydney clinic on Thursdays and Fridays.
